# Mellow AI

> Mellow AI is an independent AI engineering studio in Dallas, Texas, working remotely with clients worldwide. We design and ship production AI systems — document extraction, agents, evaluation, and the infrastructure underneath — and the client owns every piece: code, models, infrastructure, and operating knowledge.

Mellow AI does not sell a platform and does not resell a license. Engagements are staffed by small senior teams that build inside the client's own environment rather than a demo sandbox, and everything built is handed over. Typical work: custom AI systems, agent and tool-use architectures, LLM deployment, document and data extraction, evaluation harnesses, model fine-tuning, AI project rescue, and production infrastructure.

Built with TypeScript, Python, and Rust on Next.js, the Vercel AI SDK, pydantic-ai, Postgres, Zod, and the Model Context Protocol. Model choice is deliberately portable across providers.
